Hello CW,
I found this piece I think at a goodwill Ive had it a couple of years now. It is an unusual piece to me.... the base has a fired glaze but the girl figure seems to have been applied to the base at a later time...but I say that because of the difference in the finishing and the paint has a washed out look on the figure. Its about 6" tall and approximately 4" wide & marked in red ink on base is a 2 and 21. Please if anyone could help with identification on this piece, I would love to learn more about the time period including her clothing and accessories.
Thanks mustangtony, need an app.... ipad take great pics but I cant crop or rearrange pics to CW cant even drag to reorder. So I had to get to my desktop to fix photos. I think these look better....Got any tips????
Going by the costume, I would say it is Eastern European. So the top has openings for flowers? What is she holding in her hand?
It looks to be a shell...If you like I can add more photos.
Thanks, maryh1956
