This is another tiny treasure from my tin of rhinestones. It is a guilloche enameled bar pin. I have no idea how old it is but I think at least 40s as it has a very old style C clasp. It is in excellent condition and the detail in the enamel is amazing, but the blue colour in the flowers seems to have run a bit. The pin is marked sterling and a makers mark RW (or it could be RH but I think it is RW) in a shape that looks something like an old anvil - a square with a triangle attached on either side and open to the square. Does anyone know this makers mark as I cannot find it.
I think Deco era? Or around there...very beautiful pin...I love Guilloche..just afraid to wear them...lol
Thanks for the appreciation Moonstonelover - I was thinking it was Deco myself but I will know for sure if someone can help me with the makers mark.
Old post, I know!
Just found the mark (I got a lingerie pin with same), Richard Hemsley.
