I bought this lamp at a thrift store, I was sure it was murano when I seen it. I also thought it was from the 50's, and had never seen anything like it before. I was a little hesitate buying it because it had been broke and glued on the bottom picture 4. You can not see it unless you turn it over and look on the bottom. I would love to hear any ideas on the lamp. Thanks.

"Murano figurine" will give you the beginnings of the search on Google images. These figures are dresses in traditional costumes of the Venetian Carnevale. Several makers are possible. Perhaps someone might give some suggestions.

A person on another site thinks it may of been made by Barovier & Toso.
