Mothernature
(1 item)
Bought this recently with the intention of having it converted for use.
I believe it is Onyx although it was described as Italian marble. The base is 7 & 3/4 inches x 9 & 1/2 inches and the height is 9 & 1/2 inches. The ear & mouth pieces appear to be plastic based possibly. Braided cords with blue, red, brown & white wiring. There is some damage at the right back corner. Dial action is very smooth & quiet.
The label appears to be original & states the phone is:
GOLD PLATED - 18 K
TELCER TELEFONIA
VIMODRONE (MI)
MADE IN ITALY.
I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and want so badly to get it back into use. Does anybody know anything about this phone or it's maker? I'm guessing it may have been used by a company executive or someone similiar, as it seems quite large for a household phone.
More importantly, how do I get it converted, how to find a reputable restorer to fix the damage & the best way to clean it. I hope someone can help.

This phone is indeed Made in Italy, mid to late 60s and could hav very possibly belonged to a trendy or wealthy household due to it's make. Other households had started adopting the more widely distributed block coloured plastic ones at the time. My guess is the brand is LOP, which is no longer in existence today.
