Ashtray and cigarette case set, Per Lütken (Holmegaard, ca.1960?)

This set is one of those rare "out of series" designs by Per Lütken.

The only two coloured items i know by Lütken are the Flamingo (http://glasscollectors.wordpress.com/2013/03/25/flamingo-series-per-lutken-holmegaard-1953/) and Bison series in clear and green from around 1953, the later white version of the Flamingo ashtray, and the SKRAA bowls (also in clear and white) from the 1980s, and then there is this rare set, in clear and Labrador gray.

As for the shape, it reminds me a lot of some of the 1960 designs for the LAGUNEBLAA series, so my guess is that they were designed at more or less the same time... around 1960.

The first one i got was the cigarette case, several years ago, and it has always looked very lonely amongst dozens of matching Lütken items... The ashtray came to me in one of my famous "this is the last glass i buy" purchases around January 2013. At least this time i can say it really was worth breaking my resolution to get such a nice piece!
