Another toy. This is a 1992 Epiphone Sheraton that is autographed by BB King. I have put 1960 PAF's (Patent Applied For) re-issue pickups in the guitar. It has a really hot mellow sound to it and it is a great player. The guitar has all gold hardware.
Thanks for the love EJW

Love this! I am actually going to see BB King on Friday night, treating my mom and me to dinner and then concert. I can't wait :)
Thanks, I have seen him at least 5 times. He is always awesome. Truly the King of the Blues. I got to meet him when he autographed this guitar for me. He played it too....Was truly a memorable experience.
What a treat, my mom and I had a great time! But he was only able to play for an hour and a half, he was starting a new tune and the venue made him stop. He was not happy, they talked for about five minutes on stage (him and the venue people) and then he said "we have to stop now, thank you for coming". He put his coat on and left the stage. People just sat there for awhile, it was strange. No one seemed to know what was going on and then we left. But it was still great to see and hear him last night :)
Wow...I have not heard of that before...was it an outdoor ampitheatre? He is always great...
Thanks Czechman ftl...
The Akron Civic Theatre is an indoor place. It was restored to it's original glory and looks amazing. My mom used to go there when she was little to see movies. You could see 4 at a time and then they would clear the place out and start the shows over again. It is a truly beautiful place. But, there is a curfew for downtown Akron and that is why they shut the show down. Mr. King was NOT happy about it at all but what could he do? There is another outdoor venue down the street, Lock 3 and it is allowed to stay going until 11pm. But the money from that venue goes to the city... therein lies the reason the Lock gets to stay open later.
Thank you tom...
