These blackamoor figurines are a small collection of mine. I got them one at a time on flea markets. I'm not sure WHAT they are, they could be a keychain of maybe they are pendants.
They are made out of plastic beads. The one in the middle is made out of wooden beads with cloth and I think that one might be the oldest. The faces are painted on.
My guess is they date from the fourties and fifties.
So what do you think they were used for?
I love them, I hope you enjoy them too.
Thanks Agram, petey, vetraio50, mustangtony and manikin for the love
Thanks for the love valentino97, or maybe some sort of toys for children...I do like them a lot.
I regret selling a squeak figurine of a black boy holding a banana I once had...It was sooooooooo cute (yet so politically incorrect). I plan on never ever selling something I love again, it hurts to much to let things go just for some money.
