Vintage Multi-stone Orb Pendant

This is a really neat sterling pendant I have owned for a long time. The silver orb is wrapped with fine silver wire and inlaid with various semi-precious stones which symbolize the planets. There are also applied silver stars and a silver braid around the center. Large domed carnelian on the bottom and silver bale on the top. I have no idea of the country of origin but think it is old.
