I did not see anything to identify this. I looked behind and under.
It is 43 1/2 inches long. It has 2 long drawers and 4 small drawers and an oval mirror. Thank you in advance. Ynez

Thank you everybody who replied, all your info is very helpful.
I am still hoping to find out where and who it is made by.

Chances are, it was part of an entire bedroom suite. Looks a lot like my husband's grandparents set, which we recently acquired. Theirs was from the late '20s or early '30s. I love the smaller oval mirror. Different from most of the ones I've seen. Sometimes you can find your exact model in old Sears catalogs, that seems to be where a huge number of these sets were purchased!

Did you look under it and in back for a label or stamp by maker ? Sometimes it was just a paper label but also if you look close you may see a embossed company name on it . That is really only way to know who made it for sure . It was not made of high quality wood and often they used a veneer to decorate them . I would polish it up and display a vanity try in middle . The little drawers were often called Hankie drawers on top .

Thanks everyone for all the great info. Someone mentioned this piece may have been from Sears. Is there a website for viewing vintage Sears catalogs? I did search piece in and out and under, did not find a label or a stamp.

LOVE (lobe - I knew what Manikin meant) your vanity. I'd love to find something like that one day .... at a reasonable price. Have you gone to this website to browse archived Sears catalogs? http://www.searsarchives.com/
