Having been one of our first repair jobs, this doll was specially resealed to handle temperature changes. To test it, we took her on our trip to Harlem NY where we needed to find info on a doll we just purchased at a Bodnars auction in NJ. First we put her in her vintage poodle dog and decided to go with her original clothing and fur tweed coat hat and fur muffler. Her baby is an earlier paper mache and composition german doll.
All dolls in the Orie-Ann collection are hand painted by toy artist LSJ.
The information we found in Harlem led us to a woman who was a collector who had purchased the doll at a sotheby's auction in ny....
