Here I show you a very nice vintage silver gilt filigree fish pendant with a little box. The fish is very movable and has two kind turkoois eyes. Perhaps it was used for some personal memory or freguance?? Do you know where this kind of pendants where used for?
That this little fish (5.5 x 1.6 cm) is not so allone I placed it next to my other earlier showed cloisonne (also Chinese) fish.
Freiheit thanks for loving
Agram.m, very cool filigree fish :))
Moonstonelover21, thanks for the compliment and nice to learn also the word "filigree". So this jewelry helps me to improve my English language too. Also another fish!
Have you any idea what the purpose of this jewel? I do not have the final answer. Thanking in advance: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/86952-who-can-tell-me-more-about-this-antique?in=1309

I am thinking pills or a vile of powder like laudanum in a pouch? Since its Chinese...that's very common.
Or Even Perfume..scents......
These are called scent boxes, a women would place a piece of cotton doused with her perfume inside of them and wear it as a necklace or attached to a purse or clutch or something
Moonstonelover21 and Stillwater thank you both for your helpful suggestions that's why I love CollectorsWeekly!!
