This was one of my first Antique Victorian Lorgnettes that I ever bought! I loved the solid 14k filigree detailing on the necklace and this was the start of my obsession with Antique chains....This one is hallmarked 14k with a what looked like an Indian Arrowhead and the letter C. The fob was bought separately...I hope you like it:))
Very interesting chain with the filgreed circles - I have not seen anything like this before.
antiquarius123, I know...when I saw this...I was hooked!! And so all I ever acquired were the ones with ornate plates. They are my favourite! Thanks for the wonderful comment! xoxoxo
It is for holding spectacles? yes? glasses, I am learning everyday. Lots of work to make that chain!! beautiful!!
toracat, the lorgnette was for spectacles and anything that meant something to the wearer. Like mourning pendants and watches, lockets, ect! Thank you xoxoxoxo
These are always so cool!
AmberRose, I agree...I love finding them on the fly!!!

We can't have that! I'd much rather have you around than any old lorgnette... I think...
