This is a fabulous Karl Rothmueller, German circa 1906, opal and ruby pendant made of white gold. It has his classic style with exquisite detail work to the metal and the gem stones. The design is busy but well organized with what I think is one of the most beautiful combinations of gemstones, fire opals and rubies. They just compete with one another for the glory and combined have an unbeatable presence.
