I saw the earrings Moonstonelover21 posted earlier and I had to show you mine. I thought they were very similar but now I see they do have some differences.
When a family member of my husband died some years ago, I got to choose some pieces of jewelry of hers. I chose some small pieces and amongst them were these earrings. They apparently were here favorites and she wore them everyday. So my husband is happy that I also wear them a lot.
These are 18k gold, thats standard here in Belgium. You almost never see lower than that here. I believe they were made here in Belgium and they are from the thirties.

I never part with the things I got from somebody else...I can only part with the the things I bought for myself. And mostly I dont ;-)
