I need some help with identifying these two candy dishes. Both are marked with an anchor and some other marks, as well as some letters (see third photo). I don't know if they are silver and I don't know where they are coming from. I cleaned them up and they turned out rather nice.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks for looking:)

From the best I can see, it appears to be Birmingham Sterling mark, Walker and Hall silver. I can't read the date mark that well but it appears to be a small e which would be 1904. The first mark an anchor is for Birmingham England. The second mark a lion is for sterling and the third mark a letter in a box is the date mark. It is hard to read in the picture. It appears the other two letters are W & H which is the maker Walker and Hall. If the marks are different, let me know and I can help you identify.

Thank you so much NativeJewelerylovers! I am not at all familiar with silver marks. I have a few other small pieces of silver and even got a book from the library but gave up because I don't have the patience to figure it out! I'll try to get a better picture but I think you are correct in what you saw. Thanks again! :)
      Thanks everyone :)

That is so cool. I have never been able to take any good photos of marks and other details.
