This was a RARE find a few years ago! I bought his off a Seller who had this in the family for 2 generations. It was her Great Grandmother who lived in Europe. She was selling off the items the family was willing to let go of. After all these years while taking the pictures for CW I figured out what the hand cut out plates were. Victorian Domino or Masquerade masks that they used for parties!!! OMG...I feel silly that I did not figure this out before! The necklace measures 27 inches and could have been a Muff Chain at one time..the dog clasp is missing! What do you think...?
I have tested it to be 15k Rose Gold.

Thinking you are right, but it is my guess. Hmmmm,..gosh I could talk myself in and out of both!
So I have just looked at a ton of old paintings and drawings and haven't seen anything like it. Which doesn't mean much but...
