Cute little Shawnee pottery lamb. I couldn't believe what it was selling for on Ruby Lane. Mine is missing her Rudolph red nose paint though. Here's their description. - Mike -

"Offered here is this colorful 1940's lamb figurine from Shawnee. This piece can be found on page 53 of the Mangus Shawnee Pottery text. The lamb is covered in a gray high gloss glaze. The bow around her tail and the 2 flower barrettes at her ears are yellow. The flower form necklace is a rich burgundy red. She measures 6 1/2" high and about 5" in length. A nice piece that seldom shows up for sale."

Something I found on a really slow day...lol It is cute in a" Tchotchke " sort of way.I could not believe they wanted 42 bucks for this on Ruby Lane. I paid a dollar fifty and I don't think the missing nose paint would make that much difference. What surprised me too was the weight it's heavy for it's size !

Shawnee stuff is heavy for its size. I have been adding a lot of this kind of stuff lately. Can't pass by for a couple bucks.
