I tried to clean this Alabaster Lincoln, it was very yellow from smoke over the years my wife's parents smoked. This in there home, i didn't know about Alabaster, i saw that and color water would go into. How can i get the white clean?

I think it's painted plaster or a cold cast stone,which has alabaster dust added. If you clean it well with ammonia cleaner, you should get most of the tar and nicotine stains off, but a new paint job may be in order. That way, you could cover the scratches.

Thanks you are right, its a tough cast for sure, but hallow and very light, i did use a soap pad steel wool like Brillo. That where the blue color came from, it looks like there is holes on this. Not deep that's where the blue soap is stuck and wont come off with water. There is a sticker on bottom for a antique store now gone from 1990s in our town, must have been a cheap piece, My wife's mother has 20-30 book of Lincoln.
Hi Filmnet: it's still fixable. Use a small tool to scrap the blued soap out of the holes and pits, fill with some plaster. You could always do a faux finish to look like bronze or gold leaf it. Cheap or not, it's still a nice piece worth salvaging.
