This was my very first Antique Chinese Turquoise panel. The story goes that I bought this at my favourite pawn shop in Texas. I did not know anything about it. I think it was just beautiful and had to have it...paid $35 for it about 9 years ago....and well bought more and sold the rest...LOL. I kept the very first one...hope you like it:)))

Moonstonelover21 is most probably correct in saying it might be cloisonné & enamel either way I love it as I have a thing for butterfly's. Some believe they are the soles of past love ones. They can also stand for eternity & a few more on similar lines.
