    I found this ashtray made by Hamilton Products a few weeks ago. They made many animal versions ( monkeys, elephants, crows, pelicans etc.) The ones I've seen date from the 30's through the 50's maybe even the 60's. Mine is probably 40's or 50's . The newer versions don't seem to have the concentric circle pattern in the tray. It looks almost unused with just a tiny bit of rash on the chrome inside. -Mike-

      lol...yes siree ! It's an automotive term for damage to chrome when it starts to pit.

      Hi Eye4Beauty nice to finally talk to you,
      I was talking to nldionne the other day and she says you might be able to come up with some suggestions as to the ID for the two vases I have posted. The matte green art deco one and the cylinder vase with the flower on it. Could you take a look and see what you think, it's driving me crazy not knowing ! Thanks, -Mike-

      I think I have one of these at my place back east it was my grandmother's.

      These were pretty popular Caper and came in a lot of different characters.
