This brooch was in a jewelry lot I once bought. I didn t buy the lot for this brooch, but I do like it and I wear it when I have the chance. I especially love its cushion shaped (rectangular) rhinestones and the fact it has cushion AND round shaped stones. Nowadays they just throw in standard size and color rhinestones in their jewelry, but not so in the old days. They put work and effort in their jewelry and you can see that. Nothing spectacular but its a good quality piece an its really nice to wear.
I think it has much more style than the gold bow brooch I posted earlier.
I hope you see that too and you like it.
I have a soft spot for costume and silver jewelry in my heart! I like the fact that the designers can go wild and get creative, and the pieces usually don't cost an arm and a leg, but make a statement. Nice piece!
Thanks for your comment and your loving freiheit, you are right. They could get creative with costume jewelry, and thats what I like.
Thanks mustangtony for your love
A lover's knot! Lovely!
I love it too. I have a few similar with baguette stones. I never thought of it being "soft" but understand how you can see that now, the curves are accurately done with metal..thanks for sharing.
Thanks blingiton, vetraio50 and valentino97 for the love and comments
Newtimes, this looks similar to a rhinestone brooch I posted, either the clasp was broken or it's some other sort of item other than a brooch? Let me see if I can find the thread. Yours is in better condition.
Okay not as similar as I thought:

Hello katherinescollections, thanks for getting this one out of the dust :-) I do think your bow brooch has similaritis to mine, but mine is much more simple in form, might be from the same era (I guess end fourties to mid fifties) :-)
