I was wondering if anyone can tell me exactly what these items are. I believe they are some kind of Japanese Alcohol/Liquor trays, but when I look them up, I find lots of designs, but not this specific one. I have two peices (not sure if there was a third piece to the set). The small tray is about 10.75 x 7 x 1.25" and the larger one is about 18.75 x 11.25 x 1.5". On the back of the bigger tray, the labels read: "Toyo Japan" & "Alcohol & Stainproof Lacquer Ware just wipe with a damp cloth to bring out its beauty. MADE IN JAPAN"
There are what appears to be White Lilies and Orange Daisies, but I could be wrong. The handles have some type of pulled rubber or something on them. Also, their rim has a gold coat on it.

I wish I had all the research information I had 12mths ago as I had 2 different patterns on them & as I was researching to sell all my collectables I had some. As when we were leaving I had to get rid of the information as at that stage the amount of paper I had was way to much. If it didn't fir in the car it had to go most things broke my heart but that is life & when I get set up properly will start again. As I collect all things to go into a home. In the handles I think you will find the plastic cover has a sort of wood in it.
