Hello,
Beautiful mosaic that is still looking great despite the vintage condition of the earrings. Don't know where, when, or from what they are made. The only mark I can find is the crescent moon on the back. They are little heavier and the gold coloring had worn off in some places to more metal color. There is a white color, clear stone on the top of each earring.
Mosaic seems to be some kind of paint or particles connected together. Don't really know.
Can someone help me?

Hello Bea, in my opinion this is not mosaic but cloisonne work. A special sort of enamelling.

Thank you for your comment. Do you know, by any chance, where did it came from? Why is it stamped only with the crescent moon? Or, how old is it?
I got it because of cloisonne work, I do have to look it up because I have no idea what is it.

Agram.m, I agree with you on your findings on this pair of earrings. I think its from India..with brass base metal...
Those are, indeed, cloisonne earrings. I just checked bunch of other sites. Now if I can find out what does the crescent moon stamp is all about the mystery would be solved.
