We received this doll after my mother-in-laws passing.. The only markings on it say made in japan on the bottom of the foot. It is 4"inch in height. Would like info on it and maybe value we have funeral expenses yet to pay Thanks so much
Hi your little doll is cute and appears in original clothes . Japan mass produced many of these types of dolls . They never had names ,they have been called carnival dolls to kewpie like but no reaal name . They were often shipped to US as fairly cheap dolls to buy and girls often used them as doll house dolls . She is Called a "All Bisque Doll Made In Japan " her value is not much sad to say but because of her original appearance she might go higher than ones that are selling in 10-20 dollar area in todays market I think a collector of these little girls would pay much more because of condition . Wish I could give you exact name of her but she does't have one . You will do well with your other doll as she is what I would call museum quality if I was listing her . Never played with mint in box !
Did she have any others ? sometimes the ones people think are not good turn out to be the best . Glad to help
PS I have never seen one dressed as cute as yours ! :-)
Thank you Mr. Phil :-)))))))))
