    This fire extinguisher is about 15 inches long and 11.5 inches in diameter. The body is red and the handle is black. My father passed away a few years ago and my mother didn't want this item so I brought it home. Other than that the label is faded and I don't know anything about it. Any information that people can share with me will be appreciated!

      I'll tell you what it is - because I'm looking for one of them, so if you want it to go to a good home .....

      It is a standard 15lb CO2 Fire Extinguisher from WW2, but American, I believe that exact type was Kidde manufacture and the Sunday name was;

      EXTINGUISHER, fire, portable, assembly, KIDDE 15b CO2 Type

      Standard equipment on some armoured vehicles and larger trucks. It will have the date code stamped into the shoulder, something like xx-4Y where xx is the month and 4Y will be 41, 42, 43, 44, or 45.

      I have a 1944 American vehicle that has a space waiting for that if you want to sell it ...
