    This item is 19" tall and 38" in diameter. There is a metal type label on the can that says Underwriter Laboratories Safety Can No. 0114905. Other than that I don't know anything about it. If anyone can give me information regarding this item I would really appreciate it!

      Looks very similar to a explosion safe gas can, that we had where I worked back in the 80's.
      It should have a mesh inside.
      They were sealed so vapour couldn't escape.

      I'm assuming you mean 38" in circumference.
      Dia. would be apx. 12".
