    Gourds as Folk art.

    I think of them as the warts of the earth, but some folks really love gourds. For example, look at the gourds THIS lady has! NICE GOURDS!

    An undated snapshot which reads on the reverse "Note size of the Bottle Gourd" and I guess you should.

      I think those gourd lamps are great! The bottle gourd was a symbol of the universe or the entrance to the underworld. The womb too! The charms of the gourd! A great image!

      I admit I am a Gourd Head. I love to decorate with them in the fall and I use dried gourds to make crafts. I even traveled to a gourd convention a few years back!
