What can I say about this bracelet. It's exactly 40 years old. In that period a nice habit in our country was that the new father gave a gift to the mother of his new born son or daughter. One of this gifts was this Sterling Silver bracelet with a subscribtion on the little round charm with name, birth date, length and weight from the new born baby. In this case my son, which will become 39 years next August. So a bracelet from the 70's as I said Sterling Silver imported here in The Netherlands.
1. The first mark Z I for imported Sterling Silver from 1953 till to day)
2. a star
3. a 7
4. the inititial of the maker a W and another little figure I cannot decode.
5. I think to see a crab which I know is a French silver mark.
Is there anyone who has an idea of the mark no. 2, 3 and 4 perhaps?
Wonderful! I keep the "get jewelry for giving baby" too!
