    This is for all you "experts" out there. I have had this a long time, always thought it was a brooch until I had a really good look at it today. Its not a pin on the back but a rod attached like it could be a belt buckle, but it wouldn't work for a belt? Maybe a scarf pin?. Brass with nice patina and beautiful carvings. There is a mark on the pin shaft..very blurred..looks like T..DMI?..may Trifari?..guessing. Any help would be appreciated.

      Yes, half of a brass buckle and looks to be handmade, may be as old as 1910.

      It was cast and then engraved by hand
