These are two from a series of wooden figurines (they were sold as souvenirs, not as toys) I keep from my childhood.
They clearly follow the path opened by Kaj Bojesen and Kaj Franck in the 1950s in terms of wooden toys. In Spain these figurines were made from the late 50s to... probably early 80s? You cvould find them in a glossy painted finishing or made in a series of differet wood colours, just like these ones.
There were several brands for these, but the most popular ones were Goula and Vila. Goula is still working nowadays as a factory for artisan traditional wooden toys.
And just like I keep mine from my childhood, Carlos has got his own. I guess I'll take pics of his and share them here too :)
