    We picked this up at an estate sale in Long Beach, Calif. We thought it was some sort of thermostat gauge for a home...upon closer inspection, it looks like something off an old car. We tried looking it up online, but have had little luck. Any guidance would be appreciated.

      Thanks Phil! I don't suppose it mentions what the AB stands for behind the image of the man with goggles?

      yes its a in dash control for the lights and ignition as Phil correctly pointed out, but missing the waffer and brass pins that would be the terminal connectors for the wiring. The dim position would have a wire coiled from one terminal to another creating resistance for the dim position. Pretty neat and long lost technolgy. Thanks for sharing
