    We think this belong to my wifes granddad but not too sure about age if anyone could help, there are no markings except the base metal one as pictured.
    The dial face measures 40mm and has (Timex) at the top and (Made In GT Britain) on bottom, I have taken the back off and it says the same on the workings.

      Timex from Great Britain would be produced by Ingersoll LTD / Smith, these would range from the late 1950's through 1970's

      It looks a bit like a Smiths Empire movement.
      Do you have to push the crown to set the time ?
