This item has been in our family for many many years - but it is not a member of the family. I think it may be a mourning painting. It's definately folk art. Painting is on wood and approx 9 x 7". Does anyone know how I can determine the artist - I think it may be American, but it shows that it was framed in Toronto. Can anyone help or lead me in the right direction? Many thanks. Christine
