I picked this painting up at an antique store, It is probably worthless but I was curious if anyone may know anything about it. It is painted on a red velvet type material, the paint is thick and certain parts do protrude outwards. The wooden frame is hand carved and there is a signature which I can not really make out. I believe it may read Sivt. It is 49 1/4 x 26 inches. If anyone knows of the artist or this style of painting, anything would be appreciated.
