A few posts for this evening before bed. I wanted to see if anyone recognized this item. I have had a hard time Iding it online. I found it and really like the pattern/colors. It looks like it may have some age to it, not sure. Thanks!

Does anyone know if the stamp on the bottom with the "T" is a manufacturer's hallmark or a date or export mark? Thanks.

I think there is a good chance it is a biscuit barrel.

Looks like a biscuit barrel to me too.

The Five M's! You are right eye4. The T must be one of the out-sourced manufacturers for Noritake he mentions for the US market. My problem was which one? T for Takita? What do you think?

I've not yet found it. But it could be there in Japanese. Not a skill of mine. I have floated around the Ukiyo-E world in Japanese but not yet the Noritake realm. I've just discovered Wade whimsies!
