    When our family lived in Thailand 1960-62, I remember that we went to a temple to make some like this. Ours were was not nice . We used Rice paper, and by father had the guys help use. We went there 2 times, are my mother wanted for on Rice paper and this ones with black cloth and gold/silver paint. This are silk around and were made really great for 50 yrs. This is 17" by 16"

      I've seen ones in red, green and black even embellished with gold. The colors always sell for more and are really beautiful. This one is wonderful !

      The matt is silk also.
