    Who knows more?
My deceased mother get a present from her sister in law this Wedgewood lamp. After her death I inherited and it is used in our room. It's a very simple but very beautiful lamp.
It could be made between 1920-1945. But who can help me to date? You see here the mark but there is printed a number 1 too as far as I can see. In the meantime I already know this lamp probably manufactured after 1930 but the number 1 I cannot find. In the porcelain itself is: WEDGWOOD and as far as can be seen the letters or figures II Y (??).
The foot of this table lamp nicelyl crafted porcelain base and about 26 cm (approx. 10 ") high. The total height of the lamp is 52 cm (approx. 20.2") high. The color isoff white. I would highly appreciate your information!

This mark was used after 1940. In 1974 they added a little "R" after Wedgwood.

vetrai050, thanks what can I see more. You have stunning knowledge of (Dutch) pottery and thanks for the link, very informative. Than the lamp must be of the beginning of the 40s. There is also a figure 1 (as far as I can see) near the mark. What could that mean?

vetrai050, sorry I didn't notice, here it's now 01.50 pm. By the way I neither can find any vintage Wedgewood twilight lamp in Google images with this 1. In the codes there is a 3 and a 4 but not a 1 ?
      Thanks !

vetrai050 I would ask you if you can find an answer to my question about the meaning of the number 1, as far as I read it right on the bottom of the lamp an answer. You would do be a great favour!

BELLIN68, Thanks so much for all the effort you do to me. I know that the lamp should indeed be from that period. But how do you get it? I've looked through your link to the image and indeed that is the same style as my lamp but how do you get that specific period? Is that the figure 1 to the mark or is that of no influence only the style? Hoping to get your anwer, fantastic help!
