These two large 38 cm (11") vases Delft Blue handpainted Vases inhearited from my parents. This is the biggest mystery I have with my pottery items. Because under the vases is only the text: Delft Blue - handpainted and a signature (not to decode) and in one of the two vases in the porcelain itself : M DEPOSE 990.
Who can tell were they could have been made and in what year?
I wish I could tell you more about them but all I can say is that they are lovely - I imagine they look wonderful with white tulips!
antiquarius thanks for your nice words. And yes indeed they would be very nice with white tulips (WHAT IS MORE REAL DUTCH THAN DELFT BLUE AND TULIPS?) or other white flowers.i think I won't put themback in the cupboards where they were a lot of years. Thanks also for loving!
