I got this ring because of the filigree work and the fact that it is silver. I have a soft spot for everything silver. It is marked Mexico, something that could be the letter C, possibly the numbers 7 and 3 or 5??? and 925.
The front of the ring seems to be very well done but the back looks like handmade.

    Thanks for looking:)

I think I see a letter in front of the "C" - and it would indicate the location of the workshop (for example, T for Taxco, M for mexico City etc), "C" is the initial of the maker and the 2 digit number after that is that person's registration number. I am not aware of a source that would help decipher the maker's identity from those letters and numbers, some are known but many are not.

Thank you so much for your insightful comments, davyd286! I started collecting jewelry not so long ago and have a lot to learn! I believe you are correct: There is something in front of the "C" but I cannot figure it out.

Thanks a lot also to Moonstonelover21, musikchoo, mustangtony, and BELLIN68:)
