Van Dell Vintage Pin

I found this pin last weekend for $1.99 in one of our local second hand shops. It is marked van Dell, Sterling, 12 K gold filled. The second photo is the back, before cleaning it. The first photo is after a first cleaning. I worked on it a bit more after that and the pin looks just great now.

When I first saw the pin, I thought that it was possibly made in the 1920's - 1930's but I found out that Van Dell was an American company founded in the early 1940's. So that makes the pin not as old as I thought.
