Imperial Glass #488; collectors usually call this "Poppy Show" or "Poppy Vase" tho' Imperial only gave a number in their catalog; made for many years so hard to pinpoint a date; might check completed auctions at eBay or other online sites for value.
i see 2 listed on ebay one for $79 and one for $89. thanks.
can't seem to find a year.
without a makers mark it's difficult to date; unfortunately not all pieces got marked.
one site I found did list white as produced 1974-1976
thanks tall cakes!
looking thru the Imperial catalog I found a page of milk glass that had this vase shown; the catalog is 1914-1937. If you vase has no markings there is a good chance it is from these earlier productions.
wow! thanks, yes, there are no markings! thats exciting!
tallcakes, would you mind taking a pic of that page, if possible, in the catalog so i can have it?
thanks!!!
here is a link to an uploaded image taken from Imperial catalog designated as Book "E":

the top of that one is different than mine. the one in the book has many more dips.
crimping is typically hand tooled and therefore does vary; wouldn't say that the number of crimps is necessarily indicative of age.
