Well, after 6 stores and 50 miles of driving this is what I come home with. Two little bottles or vases. Both have a frosted finished. The blue ball vase is frosted with raised flowers on both sides it's 4 1/2" in dia.No mark on the bottom. I actually saw one like it on Etsy.com . They just called it "vintage". Which means they don't know...lol. The pink vase is a bit unusual. The frosted pink back ground appears to be painted on. It might be glass etching paint because it doesn't look like it would scratch off. You can see the brush marks winding around the vase. It feels like "satin" glass. The bottom is unpainted and shows white satin glass. The gold flowers have thin outlines and details of raised gold paint around them. They are painted with really broad strokes. It's 7 1/2" tall. I'm thinking it might be Bristol glass. They are quite pretty. -Mike-
Blue vase is by avon.
Here's a listing showing the same vase in white with the original box.

Oh nooo... now that is embarrassing. Mine are not marked "Avon" on the bottom like almost everything I've seen by them. Maybe these are the originals that they copied.... hopefully.
Anything's possible. There are other disceptively stylish Avon bottles on the market that are not signed either. Some may have been made by decent companies as special commission lines for Avon. Avon did not make them directly.
Ok I feel a bit better now, I know to steer clear of Avon bottles at least the marked ones...lol. I'll have to correct this post and remove Tiffin. I ID this one off "Ruby Lane " so I guess they can be suspect as well.
Everyone makes mistakes ... including me. My best advice is consider it a good learning experience, and enjoy the next score all the more.
This was a while back so I've learned a bit more up to this point. :)
