Can you tell me what's it for and the age of can I've just been given it off a Friend they have had it in the garage for years and never be what it was so they also are interested in the history of it thanks Wayne
Maybe for oiling old engines with exposed rockers.
Upper cylinder oil was added to the fuel to protect all upper engine parts such as valve seats, faces & stems, as well as the upper piston rings & cylinder wall.
I would think the sight glass on the unit is to help determine how much you are adding to the tank.
Are there graduation marks on the plunger barrel?
I will look and reply back do you think this may hold a value
I'm not sure & I had to do some research just to find that info.
One way to date it would be from the time period that Mobil sold upper cylinder lube.
I will try and research it and try and find out a bit thanks for your reply and help any additional info would be great thanks
