This piece seems to be a blatant copy and then some of a Royal Haeger piece. The "Bonnet Girl " that Royal Haeger made is a yellow (other colors I'm sure) "wall pocket". It has just her bonnet, face, and the trailing ribbon at her chin. This one goes further with her arms cradling a small infant and a planter pocket in back. It's 11" tall and 7" at it's widest point. It's marked USA with hard to read numbers. Looks like "USA 29" to me but I won't swear to it. Some damage to this piece. At least the worst is confined to the planter in back. It has a glued piece at the top edge with a 3" hairline crack below it. The front has two nicks to the bonnet (not unexpected) and chips to each sleeve at the bottom. I don't think it detracts from it at all. Just diminishes the value, if it has any. I can't find any images of this piece online. The face does look exactly like the Royal Haeger piece ! -Mike-
Ok, There's one on Ebay. They're calling it "Mother and Child" marked USA "probably" Hull pottery. At any rate they're selling it for 10 bucks with just one chip and no cracks so this one is probably worth zero...lol. Hull never seems to sell for the big money, although I do love their stuff !
