I found these two train pieces which I think are part of a set of four. I know they are MidgeToys and from the patent #2775847 I think they are from the late 40's. Anyone know any more information about these or what their value may be ?

      Hello rshunters,
What you have there are a boxcar and caboose from a set called the " Freight Train. " Introduced in 1950 in a blisterpack, it contained an engine ( diesel switcher ), three cars and the caboose. The cars varied as did the livery.
Alas, in the condition shown, your items are not worth more than maybe a dollar or two at the most.
      Cheers,
      Bill.
