1930's Glass and Metal Box

I did some cleaning up today and came across this box. I suppose it might have been meant for cigarettes. I don't know much about out alt all. My mom gave it to me more than 10 years ago. I have never displayed it in my house. When I got this box, it was filled with more than 100 collector cards from cigarette packages. Most of the actors on the cards are well-known German actors from the 1930's - give or take a few years. I'll share some of the cards in my next posting.
