This is an unusual compote in that it has a lid. It is about 6 inches in diameter, and this pattern of glass compote is relatively common here - in that several of them have come through my shop in various colours. However, this is the first one I have seen in this lovely apple green colour and the first one ever with a matching lid. I assume the others - identical to the base of this one except in colour - were the same but had all lost their lids. It really catches the light but I do not know who made it. Can anyone please give me information on this item?

it's Diamond Point by Indiana Glass and as you say was made in many colors of glass. These were sold with and without lids.

Wondering if this was something Indiana made for Tiara. It looks like their Chantilly Green.

I cannot find this green on the Indiana site - lots of other colours and even a frosted apple green, but not the clear. Perhaps they did make it for someone else. Tiara?

The Chantilly Green isn't listed in the side list of colors or included in other greens, but it is found within some of the various patterns listed. The Tiara Exclusives site doesn't show this piece anywhere that I could find but did list the sandwich pattern as being produced in Chantilly Green for Tiara.

Google search showed one that was on eBay at some point, wouldn't pull up.

there is one in Chantilly Green currently listed on eBay. FWIW TiaraMan has Chantilly Green listed as made in 1981.
