vaselineal…
(88 items)
I recently obtained this cordial set. My first thought was that it could be Moser. I know it can be difficult to positively identify art glass especially Bohemian glass. I am hoping that someone can help me ID this set.
It is uranium glass. The base color is an emerald green with a hint of blue. The enamel work is nearly perfect. The bottoms are polished smooth. The last photo shows the smoothed pontil mark. The decanter stands 7.5" in height and the cordials are a mere 2.5" tall.
Lovely.... not sure of maker but definately better quality than most of the sets I've seen
Could be moser, harrach, Annin, theresienthal, reidel, josephinenhuette... or even Legras (to name a few)
it's very good quality but a little too generic to really go forward with a solid attribution imho. Harrach Moser and Legras would probably be my first choices. Actually, can we see a side view. Legras did make a shape that was very similar.
I will post a photo of the side view for you Greatsnowyowl. Thanks for the lead! This is not my area of expertise although I do love this type of glass.
