Got to love Craiglist! Picked the up yesterday morning from a seller in Pewaukee, WI. It's a 1850's-60's handmade secretary signed on the back in black paint " volk and young, St. Pete Minn". About 7 feet tall, 3 drawers under a slant front drop front desk with a 2 glass door bookcase on top. The desk is fitted with small drawers, file spaces and little pigeon holes. The finish looks to be original with the original wavy glass in the doors. I have been looking for information about the men who made it. Does anyone have any information? Thanks
