This was my latest find today at the Salvation Army. I found it amongst the clutter! I was so happy to find a neat piece! This cost me $3.99! I love the colours and tone! Its like you are about to enter the light! What do you think. This is not signed :( Was this a good find?
nldionne, thank you for the loving :)))
Manikin, thank you for your attention :)))
hi ,anything that makes you smile and feel good is a good find
lundy, does it look like a cheap painting? :))
no ,i think its cool ,maybe like hanging in a breezeway ,
Great painting Lee - I have been fascinated with archways and have many photographs on this theme! ;))
antiquarius123, thank you!!!! If are you interested in Archways...I think spiritually you are more likely to be artistic and loving....since it like a rainbow in shape. Or round or oval....very out of the box so to speak!!
vetraio50, thank you for the loving :))
I always look for paintings and prints on all my treasure hunts, especially if they are well done. Salvation Army stores are the best ! Lucky you ! :)
mikelv85, thank you for your comment!!! Well you inspired me to look again today! I found another one...small round one...will post asap for you!
The colors really pop! Is your instinct it was a amateur, professional or commercial artist? So hard to tell from photos. What's your gut say? Beyond that, do you like it?
Amber, I have not idea! Knowing my mother is an artist...she does not always used to sign her work. I think this was done by Amatuer/Professional or someone who has studied art for many years...but never really made it. The painting is really well done. I am stumped!
To me it looks like the view from under the veranda of a California/Spanish/Mediterranean Mission.
A nice place to hang out with a cool drink in hand.
Was going to add this image of a California Mission

walksoftly, wow...thank you ...you hit it on the spot!!! Thank you!!!
You're most welcome, I had the Spanish/Mediterranean Mission in mind when I first saw this post but couldn't find the right reference photo to go with it. Then I remembered the California Missions, sometimes it takes me a while.
